Deserves it's Number 1 status in Ross,Good value food served in a friendly atmosphere.
|We went as a party of four with an open mind and what a wonderful experience we had. The staff are the friendliest I have ever come across and the food is freshly cooked to order and delicious, not the mass produced stuff you usually get in ethnic restaurants.Probably the only thing worth going to Ross-on-Wye for, but well worth the trip. You wont be disappointed.|
|Gurkha food which we hadn't tried before. We really enjoyed it - there's a choice of Indian, Thai & Nepalese. We chose the latter - not too spicy but very flavourful. The owner is a very pleasant & gentle man who obviously cares about his clientele. Two of us shared a starter, had a main course each plus a beer & cider - cost was £32 which we thought was more than reasonable. Recommended.|
|Went to Yaks and Yetis in January and it was fantastic. Authentic food that reminded us of our visit to Nepal. Like what the owners are trying to do in a town of fairly average pub fare. Will visit again.|
| Do yourself a favour whilst In Ross. If you like Chinese, Thai or Indian you must go to this gem. Great service and the food is absolutely wonderful. We all had the set menu of 2 courses for £15.00 and believe me it can't be beaten. The starters alone are enough and everything is so fresh and tasty. The owners are so friendly and the local atmosphere is part of the evening, you can eat on tradition floor cushions if you want! No wonder it stands at nr. 1.
